Valair Aviation awarded Defense Logistics Agency multi-year fuel contract

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Valair Aviation, an AGC Aerospace & Defense company specializing in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) and fixed base operator (FBO) services, was recently awarded a multi-year fuel contract with Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy).

Under this contract, Valair Aviation will supply Jet A fuel to DLA Energy through its FBO services at Wiley Post Airport (KPWA) in Oklahoma City. The first aircrafts to receive fueling service from Valair Aviation were four PT-6 planes operated by the U.S. Air Force.  The contract offers refueling for any DLA Energy customer aircraft.

“Valair is honored to be the fuel provider to DLA Energy’s customers,” said Darryl Wilkerson, President of Valair Aviation.  “This contract expands the exceptional FBO services of Valair to the U.S. military, and we are thrilled to support their mission.”

With a history that spans more than 70 years, dating back to World War II, Defense Logistics Agency Energy provides the Department of Defense and other government agencies with comprehensive energy solutions.
