Pete Hennessey has more than 40-years of experience in the national security arena—as both senior military officer and business executive. His expertise extends from the operational complexities of joint-combined warfare, to the intricacies of legislative affairs, to discovery and development of innovative new technologies. Pete currently serves as Executive Vice President of Meta Special Aerospace--which includes Commuter Air Technology, Valair Aviation, Mission Transportation LLC, and Alpha28 all headquartered in Oklahoma City.
Pete retired from the military as a Brigadier General in 2003, after concluding a distinguished Air Force career. While with the Air Force, he held executive management positions across the full spectrum of wholesale and retail logistics, directed major systems development and acquisition programs, and led corporate planning, programming, and policy functions. In his last operational assignment, he directed all logistics operations for Air Force mobility forces during Operation Enduring Freedom—the US invasion of Afghanistan following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Since 2003, he has been a nationally-recognized leader in the Aerospace & Defense business community, and has also served on the Board of Directors for the Air Force Association, Air Force Memorial Foundation, and was Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Aerospace Institute.
